Eagle News 10/15/2018
If you are a road biker like me, we are coming to the end of our riding season. I biked up to South Fork on Saturday, but was certainly glad I had on layers of clothing as the fall temperatures are dipping. And a Cougar victory over the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors was a great way to end the day. If you root for a college football team in Utah, we should all be happy. Utah, Utah State, Weber State, Southern Utah and BYU were all victorious over the weekend.
Fall Break gives us a short week. Students are out of school October 18 – 22 and return to school on October 23. I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Fall Break!
After nine weeks of school, our Lost and Found is overflowing. We will need to bag up our Lost and Found items soon, so please drop by the school and see if you can reclaim an article of clothing or a lunch box that your student has not brought home.
Thank you to all who supported our recently completed Book Fair! Up to 50 percent of the profit from the fair stays here at our school and is used to purchase books and support our library. And thanks to Janessa Ransom and Tawnya Bearss and their team of parent volunteers who helped make our book fair a success.
I have attached a flyer that gives you information about some upcoming meetings where you can meet candidates running in the November elections or attend informational meetings about the ballot measures.
Have a great Fall Break, and as always, remember that it is a great day to be an Eagle!
