Hello! My name is Kennedy Van Komen, and I’m so excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Aspen Elementary. I was born and raised in West Jordan, Utah, and recently graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in American Sign Language. I was fortunate enough to complete my student teaching right here as Aspen in 2nd grade. I’m thrilled to officially join this amazing school community!
Outside of the classroom, I love traveling, anything Disney, reading, boating, exercising, and eating sweet treats! I look forward to making this a fun and meaningful year while continuing to build relationships with students, faculty, and parents.
