School Information

Student Pictures in the Hallway are now on sale!
Our pictures in the hallway are now available for purchase. Pictures are $8/ea. We love having these pictures in the hallway each year and we use the money from the purchase each year to help offset the cost for the next year. Your support in this is greatly appreciated! You can purchase them in the office with cash, check, or card.
We would really appreciate support in this. Without these purchases, we cannot continue this tradition.
If your student is the only one in the picture, you will be able to take it at that time. If there is more than one student in the picture, we will keep the picture until the other people have a chance to purchase it as well then I can make enough copies for everyone and have them ready by the last day of school.  After Monday, May 19th, we will sell on a first come, first serve basis.

Race Day Tuesday, May 13

We will be having our annual Alpine Eagles race day on Tuesday, May 13. This is a fun day where we have all students, grades 1-6 participate in a couple short running races. The 1st and 2nd grades run a short 40 yard dash and the 3rd-6th grades all participate in a short race as well as a longer race (once around the back field). Boys run with boys and girls run with girls. Please make sure your students are wearing appropriate shoes so they can participate in this activity.

Rising Eagle Student Group for 2025-2026 (for upcoming 5th and 6th graders)

To be more in alignment with our purpose, we are changing our name next year from Rising Eagles to “Kindness Crew.”   Also, this year we will use applications to select our students for the Kindness Crew instead of nominations as in previous years. The applications will be available to our current 4th and 5th grade students. This is to ensure that all students who have a desire to participate in our kindness efforts have an opportunity to apply and be considered.   Please note, students cannot be on both Kindness Crew and Student Council.

Meetings next year will be held in the morning from 8:45-9:15 before school.  The actual day of the week will be determined by the start of the school year.  More information about Kindness Crew next year is on the application info sheet.  Applications for Kindness Crew are available in the office starting Monday, May 5.  They will be due the following Monday, May 12.  Please reach out to Mrs. Fisher or Mrs. Hartsell with any questions.

Alpine Talent Show Information

We had so many people share their talents for our Alpine Elementary Live Talent Show! Thank you for taking the time to share those talents with us. We wish that we could take everyone and make them part of the live talent show. We passed out little yellow papers on Friday, May 2nd to those students who made it into the live talent show. If your child didn’t get selected for the talent show, please still send us a video that is up to 3 minutes long of their talent and we will put it in our digital talent show. Even if you didn’t try out for the talent show earlier, you are welcome to send Mr. Horan ([email protected]) or Mrs. Orgill ([email protected]g) an email with that video by Tuesday, May 6th and we will make it part of the digital talent show. Please include the video, your child’s name, and their grade level for sorting purposes. Reach out to Mr. Horan or Mrs. Orgill if you have any questions. Thank you!

I have attached this form to this email for your convenience. If you have input for us to consider, please fill the form out and return it to the main office by Monday, May 5th. We also have additional forms available in the office if you need one.
