School Information

Kindergarten Registration starts this Week!

We want to make you aware that we will be starting our Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 year tomorrow, Monday, February 26th. This takes place online via our school website. You can click on this link http://alpine.alpineschools.org to access our website. You will need to upload a few items to complete your student’s registration.

1. Birth Certificate

2. Proof of residency-this can be a rental agreement, utility bill, etc. Something that has your name and address on it.

3. Proof of immunization-we know that you may not have these done yet, so if you do not have these completed yet, it is ok. You can get these to us later.

This next year, we will be having all-day kindergarten for our students. There will be an option for those parents who choose to only have half-day kindergarten. We will be having an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 28th at 3:45 at the school to share some information regarding how this all will work. If you have an incoming kindergartner, please plan on attending if possible.

We will also be available to help those with the registration process (computers, etc) if you would like to come in and register in the main office during the week. Additionally, if you know of anyone that does not have a student currently at our school but may have a kindergarten student next year, you may forward this email on so they have this information.

If you do have a kindergartener to register, we ask that you do it as soon as possible as this allows us to get a better number on staffing, etc for the upcoming year.

Please let me know if you have any questions. You may respond to this email or email me at [email protected].

PROUD TO BE AN EAGLE!

We are thrilled to announce that two Alpine Eagles made it up through the ranks, and their Reflections Entries competed at the State level this past month…and they both won! 16,212 entries were submitted in the State of Utah this year!

Anna Cox’s Photography entry won an Award of Merit

Miles Hogan’s Film Production entry won an Award of Excellence

Miles will represent Utah at the National level in May! If you see these students in the halls, be sure to congratulate them on an amazing accomplishment!

Maturation Program for 5th Graders

We are so excited to host our annual maturation program for our 5th grade boys and girls. We want to invite a parent or trusted adult of our 5th graders to attend with them for this program. Information has been sent home with your 5th graders regarding this program as well as an email last week that contains information that will be presented at these meetings. This meeting will take place tomorrow, Monday, at 2:30 at school.

Seeking Performers, Talent & Volunteers for our Multicultural Family Event in May!

In lieu of a normal spring carnival (new district policy bans the use of any inflatables or rides) we are planning a big “Family Party” with a multicultural theme. We are hoping to provide entertainment/performances, food, games and crafts. We need your help to make it successful though!

Right now we are looking for 2 things:

1. People to participate on the planning committee

2. Any connections to any multicultural performers or entertainment (we’d love to find at least 5-8 performances to share that evening)

Chelsea Hertig is heading this up and really needs your help and community involvement to make this successful. Please email [email protected] for any leads on performers or if you’d like to help plan.

Thank you!

From the Lunchroom

A reminder to everyone to please make sure your student(s) have money in their lunch accounts. If you need help with this, you can simply log on to linq Connect and register. In addition to making payments, you can view your student account balances, history, set up automatic payments and account balance alerts. Also, our kitchen can accept cash or checks for meal payments. Additionally, we cannot give change so all money given will be placed into your student’s account. If you have any questions or may need help, please do not hesitate to contact the main office at 801-610-8700.
