Counselor Connection Night

We want to thank our fantastic school counselor, Mrs. Hartsell, for presenting a great evening of information last Thursday. She shared our upcoming student lesson “Helping your child manage big emotions at home and at school”. This is the first of the Counselor Connection Nights. We will be having one per month, combined with Westfield Elementary. We will send out notices but the next one is virtual and is scheduled for September 26th at 6:30.

Playground Fundraiser Continuing

I have had some inquire about our playground fundraiser that we started last Spring. We are continuing to collect donations for it. If you would like to donate, you can do so by going to our website alpine.alpineschools.org and clicking on the “Donate” button where it will take you right to the Alpine Foundation website. Thanks for your support!

Join the Book Fair Decor Committee-5th and 6th grade students only!

The bookfair decorators would love help putting together our bookfair theme for this fall, which is “Hats off to reading” with an Alice in Wonderland theme! We are putting together a committee of 5th and 6th graders who love to do arts, crafts and be creative- anyone is welcome. We will be meeting on Mondays and Fridays during lunch in the Library- we will show them a certain craft that needs to be done- give them supplies and then have them finished at home and brought back to school. If your student would like to participate, please have them go to the library during lunch starting Friday, September 6th. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, Chelsea Hertig, at 801-319-2441

“Walk & Roll, Clean up our School, Wednesdays” Begins THIS week!

Starting this Wednesday (9/4) will begin our Walk & Roll Wednesdays program.

We encourage students to walk or bike to school, pick up 5 pieces of trash, and redeem for a prize. A big thank you to our student council for helping implement this! This will be ongoing every Wednesday, weather and season pending.

School Vision Screening Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers to help with our school vision screening on Monday, Sept. 27 starting at 9:20am. This will only take an hour max. if we get enough volunteers.

Please sign up HERE if you are able to help out this morning.

Support your PTA- become a member HERE today.

The incentive continues for one more week: if you purchase a new PTA membership this week your child will receive a special treat during lunchtime this Friday.

Thank you for your support!

From the Lunchroom

A reminder to everyone to please make sure your student(s) have money in their lunch accounts. If you need help with this, you can simply log on to linq Connect and register. In addition to making payments, you can view your student account balances, history, set up automatic payments and account balance alerts. Also, our kitchen can accept cash or checks for meal payments. Additionally, we cannot give change so all money given will be placed into your student’s account. If you have any questions or may need help, please do not hesitate to contact the main office at 801-610-8700.
